The puppies are five weeks old today! I've already started teaching them to sit. We're at 40% success with that command. There is one, Clyde, that truly has it locked down. I can say sit at any time and wherever he is, he sits and stays until I come pet and praise him. Diamond is almost as good, but not sure there yet.
We were also fortunate to get a thunderstorm today. It was a brief one, but the thunder was perfect for introducing the puppies to that sound without fear. Reggie and Kenzie are still petrified of storms.
Later this week, I'll try to introduce the puppies to the livestock. Individually and just them getting to sniff and look at everyone. These puppies are going to be given the best start I can possibly give. Now, if only potty training was easier!
