Power of Three

Not only are Tootsie's pups three weeks old today, but one of our goats had triplets! We weren't without casualties, another of our goat's birthed two that were way too young and weren't fully formed yet. While sad, sometimes animals abort them for whatever reason. At least the triplets and the two mamas are doing well. 

The dynamite pup litter is really earning their two handful quota. All have found their voices and all are doing well socializing with the other indoor animals in supervised visits. Teddy is actually helping Tootsie now with the pups with cleaning them and trying to herd them back to mama. Four out of ten easily get out of the whelping pool now and the rest aren't far behind. 

All I know is we've got some really awesome animals on this farm. I'm enjoying every minute of it.
