Day of Firsts

I'm giving everything I can for these puppies to have a great start on life. They get daily handling and socializing. They're introduced to new smells, sounds, and people often. And today, they got their first car ride, their first vet appointment, and their first round of shots. 

All the puppies are healthy and ready to go! They have the beginning training of using potty pads, are on solid kibble, and most know how to sit. There are two hold outs on sitting, but they make up for it in being the first to come when called. I'm not saying they know the command to come because as soon as they see me, they instantly come up to me. They're always excited to see me and to play. 

And, I'm sort of embarrassed to admit this, but they all calmed down at the vet's office when a video of birds and squirrels was on YouTube. They were nervous, normally I don't let YouTube help out.
