Water For Everyone

We all can't get over this heat. Everyone's drinking as much water as they can and it's still not enough. I'm seriously considering buying a commercial ice machine to put in all the animals water dishes and take an ice bath with the rest. 

What really concerns us about the heat, is the dryness. If anyone follows the Texas news, wildfires are cropping up everywhere. There's a big one in Fredericksburg right now (about 90 minutes from us) and we're getting their smoke in the skies. One fire got started from a glass bottle magnifying the sun's rays on the dry grass. We need rain!

I even left the animals alone today other than a quick pet for each of them. We're all too hot to have fun, and that's really just a shame. Here's hoping this month goes by extremely quickly!
