We Tried

Ok, Mother Nature wasn't playing around today. We tried to get to Austin to pick up the mash, but after white knuckle driving for a half hour and heading into the storm, we made the safe decision to go back home. It's ok, we'll try again tomorrow. 

It's amazing to me how light and fluffy clouds look, but wow can they hold a lot! Reports say we've gotten about four inches and one more round of storms is on the way overnight. As my mom would say, "everything is so green here".  I'll miss this rain in the dog days of summer. 

Have a great weekend everyone. We'll probably be swimming to the barn and going mudding in the pasture!

At least Brogan got a bath today!
